I Didn’t Like My Life So I Changed ItA little book of reassurance for when you feel stuck or don’t know what to do. These 200 reflections move through four stages, from stuck to clarity, from doubt to trust, from performing your life to being comfortable with who you are. These aren't universal truths. They're the lessons that changed everything for me.
I decided to be brave and self publish the book “I Didn’t Like My Life So I Changed It”. Because on someone’s worst day I hope I can make it a little bit better.

“I Didn’t Like My Life So I Changed It is a book made up of small pieces, yet it can have a huge impact. I personally read it in one go, in a single night, because I couldn’t put it down. The texts are sharp, honest, and so relatable, as if someone is offering you exactly the right words at exactly the right time. It gave me strength during a period when I felt truly miserable. And at the same time, it’s the kind of book you keep coming back to whenever you need it. This is the kind of book you’ll want to gift to someone else afterward.”

Why I wrote the bookThese words came to me on a day I was literally stuck. I had broken my foot, couldn't move, and was resisting life as it was. I sat behind my desk, opened my computer, and the words just came. As if to reassure me that everything was going to be ok.
All these lessons were born from my own suffering. Moving through grief, heartache, self-betrayal, trauma’s, poor mental health. Writing them down reminded me how far I'd come and I felt so much better.
The words showed me I can transform darkness into light. That I always have a choice. That I have the power to change my life, today. The only question is how much responsibility I'm willing to take for it.
I decided to publish this book because on someone's worst day, I hope I can make it a little bit better. If it works for me, perhaps it works for you too.
